Nestled in the heart of Accra, Liberty Lyceum is more than just a school; it is a vibrant Christian learning community dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and believers. Established in 2008 by the Liberty Way Christian Community, Liberty Lyceum began as a homeschool hybrid and has since blossomed into a full-fledged elementary and high school offering a transformative, faith-based education for students aged 4 to 17.
A Bold New Chapter
The 2025–2026 academic year marks an exciting transformation for Liberty Lyceum. Formerly known as Luciano International School, the newly acquired and renovated campus is being reimagined as a modern education complex purpose-built to meet global standards while honoring our Christian roots.
From updated classrooms and science labs to a library, gymnasium, and fine arts center, every space is designed to support academic excellence, spiritual growth, and personal development.
Our Mission: Educating with Purpose
At the heart of Liberty Lyceum is a mission to provide a rigorous, Christ-centered education that equips students with both intellectual and moral clarity. We aim to develop passionate learners, critical thinkers, and compassionate leaders who are ready to impact the world.
The Liberty Way: Core Values in Action
Faith
Every lesson, activity, and experience at Liberty is grounded in biblical truth. Weekly chapel services, Bible studies, and Christian character development are woven into the curriculum, ensuring that students grow spiritually as they grow academically.
Excellence
From kindergarten to high school, our students are challenged through a dynamic curriculum that integrates ABEKA®, International Baccalaureate PYP, and other global standards. Our goal? Academic mastery, creative thinking, and lifelong learning.
Community
Liberty Lyceum is a place of belonging. Through community service projects, clubs, arts, and a vibrant PTO, we foster strong relationships among students, parents, and staff. Here, every family becomes part of the Liberty family.
Holistic Learning: Beyond the Classroom
Our students benefit from:
Academic Support: Mentoring, tutoring, and counseling services.
Arts & Culture: Music, visual arts, theater, and digital design.
Sports: A robust athletics program featuring soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and more.
Leadership & Life Skills: Programs that nurture emotional intelligence, collaboration, and purpose-driven living.
Personalized Programs for Every Stage
